MEININGER Hotel St.Petersburg Nikolsky

The bundle of Hoteza TV and HSIA solutions has been installed at the first MEININGER hotel in Russia which opens the doors on Thursday this week

A new hotel of 158 rooms is opening in the very heart of St. Petersburg in the historical buildings of Nikolsky Rows after its renovation on the eve of the World Cup 2018. It became the 17th hotel of the international German brand and the first one in Russia.

The design of each MEININGER hotel is based on a specific theme. The aim was to create a welcoming space, of a distinctive character, where guests feel comfortable and willing to share their experiences. In Saint Petersburg, the basis for the local connection was the market hall itself and its former usage as a market place and enamel factory. Complementing this are the various unique features of Saint Petersburg: the legendary white nights, the golden triangle and the very name ‘Venice of the North’ – which all together inspired the ‘St Pete’ theme. The theme was executed by the Lundwall Architects, who were responsible for planning and implementing the interior design for the project.
